In a month or so, the price of 304 stainless steel plate plummeted by 4,000 yuan. The price of privately-owned cold-rolled 304 stainless steel plate ranges from 21,800 yuan/ton at the end of October to 17,800 yuan/ton at the end of November. It fell by 4,000 yuan/ton. In the first half of the year, it also set a record of 2500 yuan in a week. The trend of stainless steel prices in 2021 can be described as ups and downs. Take private cold-rolled 304 stainless steel coil 2.0mm as an example. Diversified, rose by 7,500 yuan. The current price after the fall and correction is basically similar to the price in July this year.

The main reasons for this round of decline in stainless steel prices are:

1. In the initial stage, the sharp drop in the price of stainless steel futures caused the price of spot stainless steel to fall;

2. The demand is weak, the transaction is deserted, and the trader's destocking price is lowered;

3. The steel mills were unable to support the price and had to continuously lower the order price, which made the spot price worse;

4. The transaction was worse, and some agents panicked and sold goods at low prices.
