No 4 finish is duller than the other common finishes, 2B and BA and is generally usedwhere lower reflectivity or gloss is required and where welds and other fabrication marksare to be refinished to match the original surface. This is not possible with 2B and difficultwith BA.
A No 4' surface finish stainless steel sheet or coil is produced by cutting the surface withabrasive belts to remove a very small amount of metal without affecting its thickness. 2Bfinish materials are generally processed in our polishing machines to make Matte or No. 4brush finish stainless steel sheets. We have over 800 tons of No. 4 matte finish stainlesssteel coils in stock in warehouse for deliveries across Asia, Middle East, Africa and Europe.The regular matte finish stainless steel coils stock available are grade 304, 309S, 316, 430and 201 in mill edge or slit edge of width 1000mm, 1220mm, 1500mm, 1800mm, 2000mm.
